Ok so it seems that we are getting a lot of human spammers (that’s spammers who are actual people & can therefore get past captchas). To that end there is only a one or two forum softwares that can deal with that, unfortunately that isn’t this one.

So in about a day or two I may have to shut the forum for about 2 or 3 days while I try & install a better forum and attempt to migrate the posts & user accounts. If I can’t (as not all forum softwares are migrateable) I will have to slowly (and manually) transfer posts to a local version & then upload it when it’s finished… Or start from scratch… Which I really don’t like the idea of, and I’m sure you guys don’t either.

Let me know what you think or if you have any other ideas. If you are wondering I’m considering either the RC 2 of SMF or phpBB 3.0.6 as the alternative forum software.
