TV star and model AUDRINA PATRIDGE is seeking a restraining order against a fan who showed up at her door with a stash of disturbing poems, letters, drawings and postcards.
The Hills star claims she was terrified when Zachory Loring appeared on her front porch last month (Aug09) and handed her a sketch of a woman being strangled among other items.
In legal papers filed on Thursday (10Sep09) in Los Angeles, Patridge insisted Loring is a threat to her life and she wants him kept away from her.
Her brother Mark is also requesting protection from Loring, according to TMZ.com.
As well as the macabre sketch the overzealous fan showed her, Patridge was also left disturbed by one postcard he offered her, postdated 15 September (09), explaining she is ”concerned about whether she will be injured or harmed in any way on such date (sic).”
The Hills star claims her neighbors spotted Loring on her property three days later, when she was not at home.
Surveillance tape footage suggested he spent seven hours outside her home, muttering to himself.
He returned on 30 August (09) wearing a suit and tie. The police were called and Loring was arrested.
The Los Angeles Police Department’s threat management unit is investigating the case.
UPDATE:
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge issued a restraining order barring Loring from coming within 100 yards of the TV celebrity on Friday (11Sep09).
In court papers , a lawyer for Partridge said 24-year-old Loring identified himself as a fan and handed his client poems and letters he had written to her – and a drawing of a woman being strangled.
The temporary restraining order also prohibits Loring from contacting Patridge’s brother Mark.

Actor/singer DAVID HASSELHOFF is set to celebrate the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall with another performance – 20 years after singing at the historic event.
The Baywatch star has enjoyed a devoted fan base in Germany since belting out Looking for Freedom at a star-studded concert after the Berlin Wall was brought down in 1989.
Bryan Adams, Sinead O’Connor, Joni Mitchell and Van Morrison were among the performers joining Hasselhoff at the Potsdamer Platz concert – and now the 57-year-old star is set to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the historic moment with an encore performance.
He tells People, ”I sang to a million people there in 1989. I sang Looking for Freedom the night the Wall came down. I’m going back this year (09).”
Hasselhoff has hinted at plans to give a performance inspired by Hollywood icons Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Dean Martin and Peter Lawford – who formed the Rat Pack in the 1960s.
He adds, ”When I was over in Germany, I played to the German markets and it was all pop. I have done Broadway, the West End, Vegas, (musicals) Chicago, and The Producers. I decided to do something I wanted to do and that’s Rat Pack. I love the Rat Pack.”
